The Room
What we are.
Ashen is a cocktail bar in the spaces left over after dinner. Eighteen seats at the bar, twelve at the back tables, and one small private room behind a brass door. The lights stay low. The music stays under the conversation.
We built the program around the long pour. Every cocktail on the menu is meant to outlast the first ten minutes. We use restrained spirit selections, fresh ice, and the kind of attention that makes a $22 drink feel reasonable. The room is for slow drinking and real conversation, not for being seen.
We open at five. We close late. We program sparingly: a Thursday with a record bar, a monthly speakeasy night, the occasional Sunday film. The rest of the time, we keep the room quiet enough that you can hear your friends across the table.

We hold tables for reservations and walk-ins in equal measure. The bar is first-come, the back tables are bookable through OpenTable, and the private room takes inquiries below. Last seating is one hour before close.

Private Events & Buyouts
The back room. All to yourself.
The private room behind the brass door seats fourteen for a tasting menu, twenty-two for a standing reception. Full buyouts of the main room are available Sunday through Tuesday. We work with you on programming, custom cocktail menus, and pour service.
